Working Principle
The European version jaw crusher mainly consists of the frame assembly, jaw plate installation assembly, moving jaw assembly, wheel assembly, adjustment device assembly, transmission tension assembly, base installation assembly, feed hopper (optional), and protective cover (optional). The European version jaw crusher is usually powered by a motor. The motor transmits power to the pulley via an SPC belt, and the pulley drives the eccentric shaft to rotate, causing the moving jaw to perform a reciprocating motion along a predetermined trajectory with periodic forward, backward, up, and down swings. When the moving jaw rises, the angle between the toggle plate and the moving jaw increases, pushing the moving jaw plate closer to the fixed jaw plate, reducing the volume of the crushing chamber. The material inside the crushing chamber is squeezed or crushed. When the moving jaw moves away from the fixed jaw plate, the angle between the toggle plate and the moving jaw decreases. Under the action of the tie rod and spring, the moving jaw plate moves away from the fixed jaw plate, increasing the volume of the crushing chamber. The crushed small pieces of material inside the crushing chamber are discharged from the discharge port. This continuous cyclic motion achieves the crushing operation.
Advantages and Features
The jaw crusher adopts a modular non-welded structure, making the whole machine more robust and reliable, and convenient for transportation and installation. It can meet different working condition requirements.
The modular detachable non-welded frame adopts a design with separate side walls and front and rear walls, fixed by bolting instead of welding, avoiding stress concentration problems caused by welding. The structure is more compact and reliable. It features impact resistance, uniform stress distribution, and low failure rate. The whole machine is designed for assembly, suitable for countries with low annual temperatures, underground mines, high-altitude mines, and other confined and difficult-to-transport locations. It ensures equal strength in all directions of the frame, with characteristics of impact resistance, uniform stress, and low failure rate.
Superior cavity design with high crushing performance. The symmetrical deep "V" shaped crushing cavity design has a deep crushing chamber, reasonable speed, small nip angle, and large stroke, resulting in greater processing capacity, lower energy consumption, and better crushing performance. Additionally, the large-angle toggle plate design increases the stroke at the lower part of the cavity, allowing larger feed size and higher output. The discharge particle size is more uniform, and jaw plate wear is reduced. The material throughput capacity is stronger, greatly improving crushing efficiency.
A heavy-duty guard plate is installed above the moving jaw to prevent damage caused by material impact, effectively protecting the moving jaw body and its internal bearings.
Durable moving jaw assembly. The moving jaw assembly uses a forged heavy-duty eccentric shaft, high-quality heavy-duty rolling bearings, and a moving jaw body optimized by FEM analysis, ensuring high impact resistance and stability of the moving jaw assembly. The labyrinth seal and centralized lubrication system ensure that the bearing grease is not contaminated and lubrication is more convenient, resulting in longer operating time and better stability.
Convenient and quick size adjustment. The jaw crusher uses mechanical or hydraulic discharge port adjustment devices. Its double wedge block adjustment method is simpler, safer, and faster compared to shim adjustment, saving downtime. It uses internationally branded "large-specification special bearings" such as SKF, FAG, and KTR, providing high load capacity, longer service life, and safer, more reliable use. The main shaft is made of forged material with higher comprehensive mechanical properties, resistant to high impact loads. The large side plates, front wall plate, and rear wall plate are all processed by gantry CNC milling.
Flywheel counterweight system. The carefully designed position of the flywheel counterweight improves the performance of the machine's dynamic balance system.
Integrated motor installation. The motor base and crusher frame are integrated, saving installation space for the jaw crusher, providing more stable transmission, and reducing the length of the V-belt. Moreover, the synchronous movement of the frame, motor base, and motor, along with the adjustable motor base, allows for V-belt tension adjustment, extending the V-belt's service life.
The jaw crusher is fixed with a special rubber shock absorption device, effectively absorbing equipment vibration peaks, while allowing vertical and longitudinal displacement of the jaw crusher, thereby reducing the impact on the foundation.
